The Westlake Police Department is thanking the carjacking suspects for their warrants

WESTLAKE, Ohio (WOIO). Westlake police on Friday thanked two carjacking suspects for complying with orders during their arrest.

Two men are accused of stealing a woman’s car at gunpoint from a west side Taco Bell, according to a report.

Westlake Police said that around 2:15 a.m., Cleveland reported that officers were in pursuit of a 2014 Black Cadillac on westbound I-90.

Around 2:19 a.m., Westlake police said they received a 911 call from a witness who saw a car hit the center wall on I-90 in Rocky River and two men flee in a Cadillac.

Westlake police along with officers from Cleveland, Rocky River and Bay Village responded to the scene, according to the report.

Two Westlake officers found two men matching the suspects’ descriptions on Gate House Lane in Rocky River.

Westlake Police said the two men complied with orders, were taken into custody without further incident and turned over to Cleveland Police.
