Rowing Virginia | UVA returns to action in the Princeton Chase Sunday

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – The Virginia rowing team returns to competition at the Princeton Chase on Sunday (Nov. 3). The three-mile chase will take place on Lake Carnegie in Princeton, New Jersey

UVA will field five crews in the first round of the Varsity Eights and two crews in the second round. The Cavaliers will also race three boats in the coxed Varsity Fours.

Other teams competing in the Chase include Bucknell, Clemson, Dartmouth, Drexel, Duke, George Washington, Mercyhurst, Radcliffe, Rutgers, Temple, Oklahoma, UMass, Penn, Rhode Island and host Princeton.

UVA’s varsity four placed third overall and second among varsity boats at the 59th Head Of The Charles Regatta on Oct. 20. The Cavaliers’ varsity eight placed 10th overall and sixth among varsity boats.
