She added his streams of “vile, mean and sick messages” and the constant pinging of her phone made her head feel like it was going to explode.

“(Stone) is a very dangerous, evil, twisted and violent man who should not be allowed around women and children,” the woman said, adding that the “most disturbing thing” was that he still believed he was a victim of their relationship.

Judge Moran, said Stone, of Ordsall Green, Middlesbrough, suffered childhood abuse which affected his ability to form relationships as an adult, and was assessed as posing a “high risk of serious harm to partners”.

A restraining order was also issued, barring Stone from contacting the woman for 15 years.
