Isaiah Adams

Arizona Cardinals offensive lineman

➜ What happened: The rookie played 26 snaps on offense and four more on special teams in Arizona’s 28-27 road win last Sunday against the Dolphins in Miami.

➜ What’s next: The Cardinals (4-4) look to move up. 500 when they take on the Bears (4-3) at 3:05 p.m. Sunday at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

Tony Adams

New York Jets safety

➜ What happened: The third-year cornerback was inactive for the Jets’ 21-13 home win Thursday night against the Texans with a hamstring injury.

➜ What’s Next: New York (3-6) next plays Nov. 10 when it takes on the Arizona Cardinals in Week 10.

Nick Allegretti

Washington commanders

➜ What happened: Allegretti started at left guard and played all 74 snaps for Washington in the Commanders’ thrilling 18-15 home win over the Bears last Sunday.

➜ What’s Next: Washington (6-2) plays the NFC East rival Giants (2-6) at noon Sunday at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.

Chase Brown

Cincinnati Bengals running back

➜ What happened: Brown had a 4-yard touchdown in the Bengals’ 37-17 home loss to the Eagles last Sunday and finished with 32 yards on 12 carries. Brown also caught two passes for two yards and mostly shared the snaps, starting with running back Zach Moss, as Brown was involved in 28 offensive snaps.

➜ What’s Next: Cincinnati (3-5) faces the Raiders (2-6) in a noon home game Sunday at Paycor Stadium.

Sydney Brown

Defender of the Philadelphia Eagles

➜ What happened: Brown earned bragging rights over his twin brother as the Sydney Eagles cruised to a 37-17 road win against the Chase Bengals last Sunday in Cincinnati. Sidney Brown had 19 snaps, including 16 on special teams and three on defense.

➜ What’s Next: Philadelphia (5-2) hosts the Jaguars (2-6) at 3:05 p.m., Sunday, when the Eagles don the Kelly Green jerseys at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.

Tommy DeVito

New York Giants quarterback

➜ What happened: DeVito was on the inactive list for the eighth straight week as the Giants’ third-string back in a 26-18 loss to the Steelers last Monday night in Pittsburgh.

➜ What’s Next: The NFC East matchup with the Giants (2-6) vs. the Commanders (6-2) kicks off at noon on Sunday.

Kendrick Green

Houston Texans offensive lineman

➜ What happened: Green replaced an injured Kenyon Green in the second quarter and had 57 snaps at left tackle and six tackles on special teams in the Jets’ 21-13 road loss on Thursday night.

➜ What’s Next: The Texans (6-3) have an extended break before playing the Lions in Week 10 on Nov. 10 in Houston.

Jake Hansen

Linebacker Houston Texans

➜ What happened: Hansen had 19 snaps on special teams in the Texans’ 21-13 loss to the New York Jets on Thursday night.

➜ What’s Next: Houston (6-3) doesn’t play until Nov. 10 when the Texans host the Lions on Sunday Night Football.

Nate Hobbs

Las Vegas Raiders cornerback

➜ What happened: The defensive back started at cornerback and had four tackles, including one for a loss, last Sunday in Las Vegas’ 27-20 home loss to the Chiefs. Hobbs was also on the field for 65 of the Raiders’ 72 defensive snaps.

➜ What’s Next: The Raiders (2-6) will travel to Cincinnati before opening Sunday against the Bengals (3-5).

Kirby Joseph

Detroit Lions safety.

➜ What happened: The starting safety had a standout game, intercepting a Mason Rudolph pass and returning it 33 yards, along with six tackles and two pass breakups in the Lions’ 52-14 home win against the Titans last Sunday. Joseph played every one of Detroit’s 76 defensive snaps and had 38 points in the win.

➜ What’s Next: The Lions (6-1) take on the NFC North rival Packers (6-2) at 3:25 p.m., Sunday at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wis.

Ted Karras

Cincinnati Bengals offensive lineman

➜ What happened: Karras started at center and played all 58 snaps, but the Bengals lost 37-17 to the Eagles at home last Sunday.

➜ What’s Next: Cincinnati (3-5) plays its second straight home game with the Raiders (2-6) in town for a noon matchup on Sunday.

Doug Kramer

Chicago Bears wide receiver

➜ What happened: Kramer played a role in Bears’ brutal loss. Playing fullback on a trick play, Kramer fumbled a pass from running back Caleb Williams at the 1-yard line — which former Illini teammate Johnny Newton returned — midway through the fourth quarter of the Bears’ eventual 18-15 road loss to the Commanders last Sunday. It was one of 16 snaps Kramer took on offense as he also played one snap on special teams.

➜ What’s Next: Chicago (4-3) travels to Glendale, Ariz. to play the Cardinals (4-4) at 3:05 p.m. Sunday at State Farm Stadium.

➜ What happened: Lowe started at left tackle and played all 67 snaps in New England’s 25-22 home win against the Jets last Sunday.

➜ What’s Next: New England (2-6) plays the Titans (1-6) at noon Sunday at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn.

Quan Martin

Washington Command Security

➜ What happened: Martin had a strong showing on Washington’s starting free insurance defense, securing a team-high 10 tackles (one for a loss) in the Commanders’ 18-15 home win against the Bears last Sunday. Martin played all but 10 of his team’s defensive snaps as he was on the field for 53 snaps.

What’s next: Washington (6-2) will look to remain atop the NFC East when the Commanders play the division rival Giants (2-6) at noon Sunday in East Rutherford, N.J.

Chase McLaughlin

Tampa Bay Buccaneers kicker

➜ What happened: The Texan continued to show his class as McLaughlin kicked a 52-yard field goal and added four successful extra points in the Buccaneers’ 31-26 home loss to the Falcons last Sunday.

➜ What’s Next: Tampa Bay (4-4) takes on the undefeated Chiefs (7-0) at 7:15 p.m., Monday at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.

Johnny Newton

Washington commanders

➜ What happened: The rookie started at defensive tackle and finished with three tackles (one for a loss), one fumble recovery and three quarterback hits, making 35 defensive tackles in the Commanders’ 18-15 last-second home win at Haily Last Sunday, Mary passed pass by Jaden Daniels against the Bears.

➜ What’s Next: Washington (6-2) plays on the road against the Giants (2-6) at noon on Sunday.

Denver Broncos offensive lineman

➜ What happened: Palczewski was on the inactive list with an ankle injury in the Broncos’ 28-14 home win against the Panthers last Sunday.

➜ What’s Next: Denver (5-3) plays the Ravens (5-3) at noon Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.

Del’Sean Phillips

Linebacker Houston Texans

➜ What happened: The veteran linebacker played 19 snaps on special teams Thursday night in the Texans’ 21-13 road loss to the New York Jets.

➜ What’s Next: Houston (6-3) has extra time to prepare for a Week 10 matchup against the Lions on Nov. 10 in Houston.

➜ What happened: Reiman started at tight end and logged 29 snaps on offense and 11 snaps on special teams but was not targeted in the passing game in Arizona’s dramatic 28-27 win last Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.

➜ What’s Next: The Cardinals (4-4) play the Bears (4-3) at 3:05 p.m. Sunday in Glendale, Arizona.

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver.

➜ What happened: The former Danville and Vikings standout was out Sunday after a 30-20 loss to the Rams on Oct. 24.

➜ What’s Next: Minnesota (5-2) will try to snap a two-game losing streak at 7:20 p.m. Sunday against the Colts (4-4) at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

Daouan Smoot

Buffalo Bills quarterback

➜ What happened: Smoot started at defensive end and had one tackle for loss and two sacks, played 22 defensive tackles and two snaps on special teams in Buffalo’s 31-10 road win last Sunday against the Seahawks.

➜ What’s Next: The Bills (6-2) host the Dolphins (2-5) at noon Sunday at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, N.Y.

Minnesota Vikings linebacker.

➜ What happened: The veteran outside linebacker and the rest of the Vikings didn’t play Sunday after a 30-20 road loss to the Rams on Oct. 24.

➜ What’s Next: Minnesota (5-2) hosts the Colts (4-4) on Sunday at 7:20 p.m.

Casey Washington

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver

➜ What happened: Washington saw limited action as all five of his snaps were taken on special teams in Atlanta’s 31-26 road win last Sunday against the Buccaneers.

➜ What’s Next: The Falcons (5-3), who lead the NFC South, play the Cowboys (3-4) at noon Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

Detroit Lions wide receiver

➜ What Happened: The rookie caught two passes for six yards (on three targets) and had five tackles on offense and three tackles on special teams as the Lions defeated the host Titans 52-14 last Sunday at Ford Field in Detroit.

What’s next: Detroit (6-1) plays the Packers (6-2) at 3:25 p.m. Sunday at Lambeau Field.

Devon Witherspoon

Seattle Seahawks cornerback

➜ What happened: The second-year defensive back started at cornerback and had five snaps, appearing on 69 of a possible 76 snaps in Seattle’s 31-10 home loss to the Bills last Sunday.
