JANESVILLE, Wis. (WMTV) – On Friday, the Harris-Walz campaign released details of another stop in Wisconsin, this time in Rock County.

Vice President Kamala Harris will stop at the union hall in Janesville before heading to Appleton and then Milwaukee.

The vice president talked about modernizing factories and working with the union to create jobs that don’t require higher education.

Details on when the stop in Janesville is planned for, or the exact location of the campaign, have not been confirmed.

According to the Rock Co. Historical Society, the last time a Democratic presidential candidate was in Rock Co. in 2008, when former President Barack Obama visited Janesville.

On Wednesday, Harris held a rally in Madison with musical guests including Mumford & Sons, Gracie Abrams, Remy Wolfe and more.

The Milwaukee rally will feature Cardi B, GloRilla, Flo Milli and more.

WisGOP Chairman Brian Shimming issued a statement ahead of Harris’ visits.

“Reducing inflation, reducing crime and making rents affordable are the issues this election will address,” Schimming said. “While Democrats delude themselves into thinking Milwaukeeans care one iota about their latest caravan of Hollywood celebrities, President Trump and Republicans are focusing on the needs of working families.”

Former President Donald Trump will also to hold a rally Friday night in Milwaukee.
