Ice Spice and Snoop Dogg perform in Times Square for “Fortnite”

Ice Spice and Snoop Dogg gave a surprise performance in Times Square on Friday, which was also streamed live on Epos Massively Multiplayer Online Games “Fortnite.”

The event was open to everyone in real time at the iconic New York City location, with Snoop Dogg and Ice Spice performing in person as the stunt was made available for all Fortnite players to watch.

In addition to the performance, “Fortnite” unveiled its remix of Chapter 2 featuring Snoop, Ice Spice and Eminem, as well as property The world of juice. A new posthumous album is expected from the late rapper later this year via Grade A Productions and Interscope Records.

In a first for Fortnite, players can interact with each artist through themed in-game locations that launch week after week. Players can also express themselves and represent each musician with custom artist costumes that can be found in the Fortnite store.

The Chapter 2 Remix will end on a special note with The Remix: Finale, a live event on November 30th at 2:00 PM ET. To honor Juice’s legacy and love of Fortnite, all players who log in between 1:00 AM ET on November 30th and 1:00 AM ET on December 1st will receive a Slayer Juice WRLD skin with a cel shade. “Jarad has always loved playing Fortnite – it was more than just entertainment for him, it was a way to connect with others,” said Carmela Wallace, mother of Jarad “Juice WRLD” Higgins. “From a young age, video games have been a part of how he interacted with friends and family, and being involved in Fortnite is an incredible tribute to that connection. I know he would be overjoyed to see his love of gaming continue to bring people together in different spaces, as his music does.”

1 week November 2 – Snoop Dogg joins the “Battle Royale” and becomes an icon of the 6th season of the music game “Fortnite Festival”.

Snoop also commented, “Being a part of Fortnite means creating, playing and sharing your music and culture with the next generation. My son Cordell is great at playing Fortnite with me, so when we had the chance, we used it as a new way to connect with my sound and style. Anyone can be Snoop in Fortnite.”

2 week November 7 – Eminem makes a reappearance after his original Fortnite debut in December 2023.

“Guess who’s back ready to fight, man! I’m serving up all new gear with a side of spaghetti…come and get it! Nice to get back to Fortnite for more mayhem,” Eminem added.

3 week November 14 – Ice Spice arrives to introduce you to her experience as the princess of New York.

“Getting the chance to come into the game and remix a Chapter 2 map is unreal,” said Ice Spice. “It’s exciting to be a part of something so iconic and I can’t wait for the players to experience this new atmosphere. Fortnite is all about creativity and connection, and I’m excited to add my own spin to that!”

4 week November 21 – Celebrating the legacy, music and style of Juice WRLD. More information will be announced later.
