Hyderabad: Following the death of a woman and the hospitalization of several others after they ate momos from a stall at Banjara Hills Road No. 10, the police have arrested six persons running a momo stall.

On October 28, the police received a complaint that Reshma Begum, a resident of Singadi Basti, had gone to the market with her daughter and, on her way home, had taken momos from a stall there.

The family ate momos and suffered from diarrhea and vomiting the next morning. They were shifted to NIMS hospital where the woman was declared brought dead while the others were taken for treatment.

The petitioner alleged that Armaan, Sajid Hussain, Shahrukh and others tampered with Momo, leading to health complications and death.
Under the direct supervision of S. Venkata Reddy, Assoc. Commissioner of Police Banjara Hills Division, KM Raghavendra Inspector of Police, SM Basheer Ahmed, Detective Inspector of Police, V.Rambabu, Deputy Inspector of Police, and P.Ravinder, Deputy Inspector of Police Banjara Hills PS, arrests were made.
