An arrest has been made in the homicide of a man found dead in Reno near Sun Valley

RENO, Nevada (CIRCLE). On Thursday, the Reno Police Department arrested a suspect in a January homicide.

Police arrested Rafael Contreras-Servin, 43, on charges of open murder, firing a gun into an occupied building, destroying or concealing evidence and child endangerment.

On January 15th, police learned that 25-year-old Adinso DeLeon Garcia had been missing since January 12th. Later on Jan. 15, police found DeLeon Garcia dead in the passenger seat of his car at the corner of East Leonecio Drive and Crystal Lane in Reno near Sun Valley.

An autopsy conducted by the Washoe County Medical Examiner’s Office determined that DeLeon Garcia died as a result of a homicide. Detectives identified Contreras-Servin as a suspect.
