Raiders at Bengals Prediction: Odds, Expert Picks, QB Matchup, Injury Report, Betting Trends & Stats

The Oakland Raiders (2-6) and Cincinnati Bengals (3-5) may be separated by just one game in the standings, but they’re actually going in very different directions.

The Raiders have already traded away their top WR Davante Adams, had to return QB Gardner Minshew after Aidan O’Connell’s thumb injury, are on a four-game losing streak, and superstar DE Maxx Crosby is rumored to be on the move at the deadline as well Tuesday’s NFL trade.

The Bengals are off to an 0-3 start to the season, but have won three of their last five and are certainly a dangerous team led by Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase. Chase has scored TDs in five of his last six games, and if you think he’s scored six of his last seven, look at his all-time TD odds (-135).

Chase’s fellow WR, Tee Higgins, continues to work through a quad injury after missing last week against the Philadelphia Eagles, but Cincy has gotten a spark lately from sophomore RB Chase Brown. Over the past four games, Brown has carved out a starring role for Zach Moss, passing him in back-to-back weeks and scoring TDs in three of four.

While the rest of the NFL will be keeping an eye on Crosby (6.5 sacks) in this matchup right before the deadline, Minshew better keep his head on a swivel against Bengals DE Trey Hendrickson, who already has 7.0 sacks on the year. If you think any of these pass specialists add to their sack totals this week, check out these pregame odds when DraftKings releases them.

In addition to these potential plays on Chase, Crosby, and Hendrickson, let’s dive into the matchup and find another tip or two.
