2 Jeeps towed from Cuyahoga this week were stolen; 1 used in the crime, say the police

CLEVELAND. According to Cleveland Police Public Information Officer Sergeant Freddie Diaz, the two Jeeps pulled from the Cuyahoga River two days ago were stolen and one of them was used in the crime.

Diaz said police believe one of the two vehicles was used in a “domestic shooting.”

News 5 reported Tuesday that authorities are searching the Cuyahoga River in connection with the disappearance of Keshaun Williams.

Diaz said police have no reason to believe “at this time” that either vehicle is connected to Williams.

At this time, we do not have any evidence or information to confirm that any vehicle is connected to the Keshaun Williams missing persons investigation.

The vehicles were initially discovered by out-of-state divers who recovered the two SUVs on October 20.
