Ledbetter was arrested and charged with 1st and 2nd degree murder. More details about the killing are expected during a police briefing on Friday.

According to court documents, one of the victim’s children called police and said their mother was not feeling well. When officers arrived at the woman’s southwest Sioux Falls home, her hands were cold to the touch.
