Mystery House in West Palm Beach

Located in Yesteryear Village at the South Florida Fairgrounds, house of mysteries it is said to be full of ghosts.

In the early 1900s, it was the caretaker’s house for a West Palm Beach cemetery. Years later, it was moved to become part of the village. After the move, workers swore their tools were mysteriously moved, and one man claimed a tool hit someone in the head.

Visitors reportedly saw a boy playing in a bedroom and a woman getting ready for bed.

The Blue Anchor Pub in Delray Beach

It Delray Beach This pub is said to be haunted by the ghost of Bertha Starkey, a British woman who was brutally stabbed to death by a jealous husband in a pub in 19th century London.

Her ghost haunted the original pub, built on Chancery Lane in 1865, until the owners demolished it. The facade and interior of the bar were transported to Delray Beach from London in the 1990s.

Over the years, longtime employees have seen and heard strange and unexplained things.

Lake Worth Theatre

The ghost of Lucian Oakley, theater co-founder and suicide victim, is said to be seen in mirrors, moving heavy objects and leaving a giant handprint on the walls of the theater. Lake Worth Theatre.

Haunted Colony Hotel in Palm Beach

Built in 1926, this Delray Beach hotel is said to be the haunt of its original owners. Visitors have reported seeing shadows, pulsating lights and hearing strange sounds.

The Haunted Gulfstream Hotel on Lake Worth Beach

This historic 1920s hotel in Lake Worth is said to be haunted by the ghost of a 6-year-old girl. When the hotel opened, she allegedly turned on the televisions, flashed the lights and played with the elevators.

The hotel has been closed for many years, and the developer has pledged to give it $70 million in renovations.

Jonathan Dickinson State Park (Martin County)

Nicknamed “The Loxatchee Wild” Vince “The Catcher” Nelson is a ghost said to be on the prowl Jonathan Dickinson State Park. After moving to the area in the 1930s, Trapper eventually amassed 858 acres of land along the Loxahatchee River. In 1968, Trapper was found dead from a gunshot wound. The coroner ruled it a suicide, but some who knew of his clashes with local residents believed he had been murdered. After his death, the state purchased his land and it became part of Jonathan Dickinson State Park in 1970.

Visitors can canoe along the Loxahatchee River to explore its cabins, docks, chicken coops.
