Four boys arrested during stolen vehicle parts in Rochester

Rochester, NY – three arrests were made on Thursday night during the stolen vehicle parts conducted by the Rochester police and New News.

The first came around 1:30 pm, when the officers noticed the stolen Kia on Joseph Avenue.

After the driver was unable to move, a short pursuit, which ended in Sea Parkway, came, where a 14-year-old boy was taken into custody.

He is accused of unauthorized use of vehicles and criminal possession of stolen property and was given a ticket for appearance.

After 5:45 pm, the officers stopped the stolen car on Chile Avenue.

Two invaders who were both 15-year-old boys fled from the scene and were subsequently taken into custody on Normandy Avenue, police said.

Both suspects found using the window punching tool had outstanding warrants for previous accusations.

Both are accused of unauthorized use of motor vehicles and were taken to the Monroe District Children’s Detention Center.

One of the young suspects was shot dead on January 18, as he apparently tried to steal a car parked in a house on Rauber Street.

After a couple of hours at about 8 pm, the police noticed the stolen KIA parked on Frost Avenue. Watching the car, the 12-year-old boy got to the driver’s seat and tried to steal him.

After the officers surrounded the vehicle, the boy escaped and was caught in the next yard, police reports.

The young suspect was issued a appearance ticket for unauthorized use of vehicles.
