The Breckenridge Police Department says it has made three arrests in connection with vehicle break-ins in Summit and Park counties.

The Breckenridge Police Department said in a news release Tuesday, Oct. 29, that multiple law enforcement agencies executed search and arrest warrants at a residence in the 100 block of Rock Spring Roads in Blue River.

Police arrested a 35-year-old man, a 33-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman after investigating multiple reports of thefts from vehicles in Breckenridge, as well as other parts of Summit and Park counties, the release said. state



A 35-year-old man was arrested on charges of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, theft of identity to obtain valuables, unauthorized use of a financial transaction device and theft between $2,000 and $5,000, all felonies, according to prosecutors. Breckenridge Police Department. He was also reportedly arrested on charges of criminal possession of a financial device and criminal possession of an identification document, both felonies.

The 33-year-old man was arrested as an accessory under Colorado’s accessory statute and charged with unauthorized use of a financial transaction device and theft between $2,000 and $5,000, both felonies, according to the Breckenridge Police Department. He was also reportedly arrested on a charge of unauthorized use of an identification document, a misdemeanor.



A 31-year-old woman was reportedly arrested and charged as an accessory under Colorado’s accessory statute.

An investigation into the reported thefts led police to a Blue River residence, where a search turned up numerous items believed to have been stolen, the release said. According to the Breckenridge Police Department, the investigation is ongoing as agencies work to identify additional victims due to the large amount of stolen property.

The Summit County Sheriff’s Office, 5th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, Blue River Police Department, Dillon Police Department and Fairplay Police Department also reportedly assisted in the search and arrest warrants.
