What is Ranver Allahbadia’s dispute?

In a statement on February 10, Aicwa condemned the show, calling him “deeply contemptible to social and family values.” The dispute exploded after Allahbadia asked member Jesse Nabama inappropriate questions about the show, even taken by the owner of Samai Rhine – known for his dark humor – astonishment. The clip quickly became a viral, sparking indignation of the public.

Later, Allahbadia made a public apology, admitting that his comment was “not just inappropriate but not even funny.” However, the reaction continued, a complaint against him, Rain and other participants in the show with the Women’s Commission Maharashtra and Mumbai police, demanding legal actions.

Aicwa’s statement called on the Indian film industry to break the links with all the shows, including Allahbadia and Rhine. “These individuals will not receive support from the industry,” the message reads. The Association also called on the authorities, including the Minister of Information and Radio Broadcasting, Ashvini Vaishnau and Chief Minister Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis to take action immediately.
