An Anchorage man has pleaded guilty to manslaughter in connection with the death his wife and teenage daughter in 2019 in a deal that calls for him to be sentenced to 100 years in prison.

Tylan Fely, 39, shot and killed his wife, Cecilia Tuuaga, 30, in front of their 13-year-old daughter in their home three days after they filed a restraining order against him, according to a factual affidavit. included in the plea agreement.

Fely then drove his daughter with Tuuaga’s body to buy a gas can before stopping at a dirt lot in East Anchorage and fatally shooting the teenager, the affidavit said. Fely then set fire to the Chevrolet Tahoe with both bodies inside.

Fely pleaded guilty Tuesday to two counts of second-degree murder and is scheduled to be sentenced in March. Anchorage Superior Court Judge Jack McKenna will decide whether to accept the plea deal during that hearing.

The deal sentences Fely to 100 years in prison and will require him to serve at least 55 years before he is eligible for voluntary parole.

Fely was previously convicted of involuntary manslaughter for the 2005 shooting. In this case, he was sentenced to eight years in prison.
