On Friday, January 31, local police brought dogs to the Michigan Avenue Assembly Plant in Wayne, Michigan west of Detroit to look for both production changes, allegedly trying to cross drugs, alcohol and weapons. Police have launched widespread anger among employees who considered it a gross violation of privacy and an act of intimidation.

Until the local media reported the deployment of police at the Michigan Assembly, workers who witnessed the operation were reported on social networks that Ford stopped three employees on the spot. There was no report that illegal drugs or weapons were found on the spot.

Michigan’s police invasion of the Michigan Assembly took place for several days of UAW local officials on several Ford Plants intensified company security measures at a plant in North America. This included reports of plans for the position of plain clicks at each plant. According to a letter published by Todd Dann, the head of the plant at UAW LOCAL 862, the largest local UAW in Ford, which includes Kentucky Giant Plant in Luisville, Kentucky:

“Ford Motor has created a global safety working group that will work at every US plant. The purpose of this initiative is to ensure the safety of both employees and the company.

“The main problems they focus on include:

· Drugs and possession on a plant and parking

· Weapons at the factory

· Drinking alcohol on a plant and parking

· Illegal parking on parking

· Theft in the factory and the property of the company

“It is important to know that random check checks can be realized in the future. The company is obliged to provide a 30-day notice before the start of such measures.

“In addition, three members of the Global Global Security Group will control the site for all three changes.
