Man pleads guilty in a deadly shooting in a Walker apartment complex

Kentai, Michigan – a man pleaded guilty for a deadly shooting in Walker’s apartment last year.

WITH shooting He left 39-year-old Timothy Erickson dead in gardens for four miles on March 23, 2024.

Suspect, Alexander Garcia, was Arrested A few days later. He was accused of opening murder and criminal firearms. Court’s documents found that he confessed to the murder.

Garcia pleaded guilty of murder of a second degree and a crime of firearms, Kent County Prosecutor’s Office reports. He faces up to 31 ¼ years of imprisonment on charges of murder and 2 years on charges of firearms.

Hearing the sentence is scheduled for March 5.
