Man pleads guilty on federal accusations for liberation of a gun near a Jewish temple in New Nork

Olbani, New York-29-year-old man, pleaded guilty of federal accusations on Tuesday for the release of a gun near the New York Synagogue during the first months of the war in Israel-Hamas.

Muffide Favaz Alhader was arrested in December 2023 after shooting two shots in the air and shouted “Free Palestine!” Out of the Temple Israel Albani. Alkhader’s gun was stuck before he could shoot for the third time. According to federal prosecutors, a US citizen born in Iraq was arrested by Iraq, who was arrested and complained about events in the Middle East.

The shooter in the New -York capital occurred on the first night of Hanuka and two months after the unexpected invasion of Hamas caused war. No one was injured, but 61 children who visited preschools were protected on the spot until the police searched for the territory. Prosecutors stated that Alhader had taken a vehicle to drive to the temple from his home in a nearby Schenectad.

According to the Agreement with prosecutors, Alhader found his guilt in obstruction of the free exercise of religious beliefs with the threat of force, breeding firearms during the delivery of this offense and conspiracy for illegal purchase of firearms.

“A violent, antiseptic and terrible act of the defendant aimed at the Church of the Israeli Congregation, a greater Jewish community and the right of everyone to practice their religion without fear of violence,” said US prosecutor Carl Friedman in a prepared statement.

Alkhader, dressed in orange clothing, said little in court, in addition, to join his pleas and respond to a number of issues of a judge with “yes” or “no”.

Federal prosecutors initially accused Alhade of possession of a firearm forbidden – the prosecution authorities stated that he was associated with his recognized use of marijuana. He was later accused of conspiracy to make a false statement when purchasing a firearm.

A group of people from the temple attended the lawsuit and refused to comment when they left.
