Elon Musk X sue these big companies for claims

Elon Musk X has expanded his legal battle for the intended Collective advertising boycottAdding several outstanding companies to your claim. In a complaint filed recently in the Texas Court, X named Nestlé, Abbott Laboratories, Colgate, Lego, Pinterest, Tyson Foods and Shell as defendants.
These brands join the list that already includes the World Federation of Advertisers (WFA), CVS Health, Mars, Ørsted and Twitch.

Why X filed a lawsuit against these companies

The claim X, originally filed in August last year, states the agreed efforts of these companies to the boycott of advertising on the platform after the purchase of Elon Mask in October 2022. At that time, Musk stated in a post about X, “anyone who boycotted a lawsuit in every country they boycotted.”
Musk said in a separate post: “We tried to be pleasant for 2 years and have received nothing but empty words. Now it’s a war.”

According to Business Insider’s report, the company on social networks states that the defendants, some of whom were members of the present non -existent global alliance for responsible media (GARM), have made “collectively keep billions of dollars on revenue from X -X advertising.
In August last year, the Trade of advertisers of WFA announced its intention to challenge the claim, claiming its observance of the competition law.
Garm, created in 2019, is aimed at creating a standardized framework for categorizing harmful content, such as hatred language and misinformation. The participation was voluntary, and many platforms took these framework as “brand security floor”. With himself X was a former member of Garm.
The changed complaint X claims that WFA “organized a Twitter boycott advertiser through GARM, aiming to force Twitter to adhere to GARM brand security standards.” The company claims that at least 18 GARM members have stopped advertising on Twitter in the United States and around the world between November and December 2022, after absorption of a mask for $ 44 billion in October.
X claims that the predictable boycott has reduced its competitiveness in the digital advertising market and has a negative impact on the involvement of users.
The income from the advertising of the company has suffered a sharp decline after the purchase of a mask, as many advertisers have departed from the platform due to the reduction of staff, change of policy and restoration of some previously prohibited accounts.
