The driver pleads guilty to killing two victims in a Buffalo catastrophe

Buffalo, Ny (WKBW) – Buffalo’s husband pleaded guilty on numerous accusations, including murder, due to a deadly disaster in March 2024.

Erie’s district prosecutor’s office announced that 24-year-old Devin M. Ford has been guilty of the State Supreme Court at two second-degree murder points, one calculation of the second degree attack and one third-degree attack.

Authorities said that on March 21, 2024, Ford was traveling at a high speed north to the main street in Buffalo, when it caused a collision with another vehicle at the Humboldt Parkway intersection. During the accident, Ford did not have his headlights, and he was taken into custody when he tried to get out of his vehicle through the front passenger doors.

Ford was transported to ECMC for evaluation, and four residents of another vehicle was delivered by an ambulance to ECMC.

The district prosecutor’s office stated that the driver of another vehicle, 27-year-old Nasir Musazada from Buffalo, worked as a RideShare operator during the accident and was declared dead in the hospital. His passenger from the driver, 26-year-old Morgan Erenbeit with Ohio, also died in hospital. Another passenger in the back seat, a 31-year-old man with Ohio, was seriously injured and is still in a long-term rehab. The passenger of the front seat, the other 31-year-old man with Ohio, was released from the hospital after treatment of injuries in the spine and ribs.

Ford is threatened with a maximum of 15 years in prison and is planned to be sentenced to March 24. It remains held without collateral.
