Donald Trump tries to drive into a garbage truck: video

Social media commentators are expressing concern Donald Trumphealth after the appearance of personnel republican A presidential candidate climbing into a campaign-branded garbage truck.

In response to the video, one activist said Trump “seems to be really struggling physically,” while another said the former president “has gotten so bad he’s moving like a drunk.”

Trump was in Wisconsin on Wednesday filmed how to get into a garbage truck wearing a fluorescent orange safety vest, the obvious answer to the President Joe Biden called his supporters “trash” earlier this week. The footage was taken on the campaign trail in Wisconsin, and Trump later wore the fluorescent vest to a rally in Green Bay.

There was a seven-second clip of Trump starting to get into the truck shared on X by Matt McDermottpollster, who works on a number of progressive causes as senior vice president of Whitman Insight Strategies. McDermott added: “Trump seems to be really struggling physically.”

In the video, Trump can be seen leaning toward the door of the garbage truck, appearing to miss the door, and then briefly looking uncertain. McDermott’s post went viral on X, garnering over 7,900 reposts and 3.7 million views.

Responding to the clip, attorney Jeffrey Evan Gold, who provided legal analysis CNNsaid, “Just gave it right there. I don’t think he’s going to pass a medical for a rubbish job, but at least he’s trying.”

On his satirical account Mrs. Betty Bowers, Canadian comedian Deven Green wrote: “He’s gotten so bad he’s moving like a drunk now.”

Former NBA Basketball player Rex Chapman also reacted to the footage, commenting: “Are any networks going to show this tonight??”

The Art Candee X account, which has 114,000 followers on the platform, added: “Donald miss that massive doorknob? He’s sick.”

Stuart Stevens, political consultant and author A plot to end Americaposted: “The irony is that no city or state can hire Donald Trump as a garbage man, given that he is a felon on bail awaiting sentencing.”

Newsweek reached out to the Trump campaign for comment Thursday via email after business hours.

Other commentators praised Trump for his move on social media.

Post on X, Breitbart Journalist Alana Mastrangelo said: “Joe Biden is calling millions of Americans ‘garbage.’ The next day, Trump was picked up in Green Bay, Wisconsin, in a dumpster. He plays chess.

Popular “Libs of TikTok“, hosted by Chaya Rajchik, posted: “I love how the media is forced to cover Trump in a garbage truck. They must be losing their minds.”

On Tuesday, Biden appeared before calling Trump supporters “garbage” in response to comedian Tony Hinchcliffe calling Puerto Rico a “floating garbage island” at the former president’s Madison Square Gardens rally on Sunday.

Talking to Newsweek, White House Press Secretary Andrew Bates insisted that Biden was referring to the “hateful rhetoric that came out during the Madison Square Garden rally” and not to Trump’s collective supporters.

Addressing the media from a garbage truck, Trump compared Biden’s comment to Hillary Clinton calling “half” of his supporters a “basket of deplorables” in 2016, calling the comment a “disgrace”.

During his rally in Green Bay, Trump joked that his team convinced him to wear it orange vest, saying it makes him look thinner.

The Republican candidate said his initial reaction to the suggestion was “no way,” but they responded, “If it does, you know, it actually makes you look thinner.”

Trump added: “They got me. I said, “I want to wear this on stage.” I may never wear a blue jacket again.”

Where did Donald Trump go in the garbage truck?

Trump climbed into a garbage truck during a campaign stop at Austin Straubel International Airport in Green Bay, Wis., before a rally at the city’s Resch Center.

The former president, wearing a fluorescent orange vest, sat in the passenger seat as the truck drove down the tarmac.

Addressing reporters, he asked: “How do you like my garbage truck? This truck is in honor of Kamala and Joe Biden.”
