Man and his cats found life over the stage of Dickinson State University – Inforum

Dickinson, New -York – a man and his two cats were found on a weekend that illegally reside in the attic above the stage at Stickney Audience at Dicinson State University, Campus officials report.

University officials said the man lived in space, which includes a dance studio, a wardrobe and several offices.

The person was identified, and the Dicinson police department contacted him about his unauthorized entrance and the use of the building.

In response to the DSU incident, it took several security measures to prevent future unauthorized access. These include the installation of safety chambers in the affected area, the placement of emergency lighting in the hallway and making changes to the access point used by the person.

University officials have stated that additional safety increases are planned over the coming months to further solve problems with access to construction.

“We do not believe that this person is a threat to someone in the campus,” the DSU campus safety report said. “But in abundance, we wanted the campus community to be aware of the situation.”

The security department called for students and staff to stay vigilant while entering dark areas in the campus and report any suspicious activity.

Auditorium Stickney is part of May Hall, one of the central academic buildings of DSU. The object is used for theatrical production, dance classes and other campus activities.

Dicinson’s police did not declare any accusations related to the incident.
