CPAC claims evidence of illegal ‘ballot harvesting’ in Wisconsin

Chairman Matt Schlapp had his say CPAC Foundation filed a complaint with the Wisconsin Elections Commission on Wednesday along with witness accounts of an alleged crime committed in broad daylight near Milwaukee City Hall.

In his statement, a witness said he saw someone put up to 500 ballots in an unguarded ballot box and then run away when he realized he was being photographed.

In Wisconsin, the law requires voters to process their ballots in person. According to CPAC, it prohibits collecting or collecting ballots for others.

In its complaint, the Washington group, known for holding political conventions around the world for conservative activists, said the law requires that “ballots be mailed or delivered in person to the municipal clerk issuing the ballot or ballots.” if the voter is incapacitated.”

He added that “CPAC believes that the facts provided establish probable cause to believe that a violation of Wisconsin law has occurred and urges the Wisconsin Elections Commission to immediately investigate these allegations.”

On X, Schlapp wrote: “CPAC received a report of illegal collection of ballots in a drop box near Milwaukee City Hall. A witness reported that the individual threw a large number of absentee ballots into the box before fleeing the scene. Ballot collection is illegal under Wisconsin law.” Schlapp added that CPAC is “committed to protecting our elections and calls on the WEC and local law enforcement to investigate these allegations.”

This is what the witness wrote in his statement:

I am personally familiar with the matters set forth herein, and if I were called as a witness, I could and would testify competently as to the truth of such matters.

On October 25, 2024, at approximately 7:55 p.m., I witnessed an individual drop a bag full of coupons into a drop box.

It is my understanding that ballot trading is a violation of Wisconsin law and that each voter must provide their own absentee ballot unless the voter is disabled.

I was sitting in my car with my son at the City Council Box at 200 E. Wells Street, Milwaukee, WI 53202.

The man approached the box with two packages.

One of the bags was a lanyard backup. The other bag was a large green bag with a zipper on the top.

The green bag turned out to be full. I estimate that a green bag could hold anywhere from 50 to 500 vouchers.

The person approached the collection box and reached into the green bag at least five times to empty the contents into the container.

As I walked away from the box, I watched as the man folded up the now empty green bag and placed it in the spare string.

When the person realized that I was watching and taking pictures, he ran away.

I have attached four photos of the person I was able to capture.
