A teenager who moved to court while attacking a police officer while stopping traffic on the west side of Detroit

Detroit – Kim Prosecutor was worth accusing 19 -year -old Remont Darrell Adams of Detroit due to the attack of the officer who led to the shooting on December 14, 2024.

On December 10, 2024, at about 11:41 pm, in the quarter of 19300 on Saint -Mary Street, police in Detroit tried to stop traffic on the defendant’s vehicle.

During the traffic stop, as can be seen from Body Cam, recently released, Adams went to officers, trying to escape from the movement stop.

Officers released firearms, hitting it several times. Flawling from the scene, Adams hit one of the officers with his vehicle.

After a short time, the officers located Adams, lying on the road in the 19400 quarter on Rutherford Street, suffering from gunshot wounds.

EMS came and transported the age of 19 to the Detroit Metro Hospital for treatment.

Adams is accused of attacking, escape and evasion of third degree evasion, as well as resistant and obstruction of the police.

It was detained on December 14, 2024 in the 36th District Court and provided cash bonds of $ 500,000 with Tether GPS.

At the hearing of the re -determination of the bonds on December 16, 2024, the judge reduced his bond to a personal bond of $ 500,000 with house arrest.

In a previous study, on January 15, 2025, Adams’ bond was increased to $ 250,000/10% with house arrest, and it was tied to the accusation.

On January 22, 2025, Adams was assigned to information in the 3rd District Court.

His next court date – March 14 2025 at 1:30 pm
