Questioning the actress about illegal immigration, one netizen on X wrote, “Selena Gomez made a video of herself ugly crying over the ongoing mass deportations. Because, of course, a celebrity who has lost touch with zero understanding of how dangerous our country has become is crying about deporting criminals. How pitiful.”

Another wrote: “How many criminal aliens from Colombia is Selena Gomez willing to host in her Los Angeles mansion?”
