Queen Dami Pens Pay attention to yourself

  • Queen Dami wrote a heartfelt letter to herself, noting how beautiful, strong, kind, supportive and loyal she is.
  • She described herself as the true definition of a good woman when she encouraged herself not to feel less than or let anyone break her down.

Queen Dami, ex-wife of the late Alaafin of Oyo State, Oba Lamidi Adeyeye, took to social media to share a heartfelt note to herself.

The post comes amid an ongoing online controversy and Legal threat from Alaafin’s late daughters.

It will be recalled that Queen Dami recently gave an interview to Esabod, which became controversial. During the interview, she mentioned the name of the late monarch several times.

Taking steps against the widow, Aminat, the daughter of the fallen king, sent a report from her brothers and sisters to Dami.

They threatened to take legal action if she mentioned her father’s name in future interviews or online.

The letter emphasized that Dami is not the only widow of the late king, but her behavior is “increasingly disturbing and unacceptable.”

In a recent note to herself, Queen Dami acknowledged her own strengths and qualities, describing herself as beautiful, strong, kind, supportive and loyal.

She urged herself to stay confident and not let anyone undermine her self-esteem.

Queen Dami reminded her audience that everyone faces challenges, but it’s important to pick yourself up and keep moving forward, trusting in a higher power.

She wrote:

“Dear Oluwadamilola

You are beautiful, you are strong, you are kind, you are supportive, you are loyal, you are the very definition of a good woman, you are enough!
Don’t let anyone make you feel less than yourself, don’t let them break you down! You do your best.
Dearest gentle readers, no matter what you are going through in life, pick yourself up and carry on, God will always come through, put your trust in Him.”
