Allu ArjunThe much-anticipated Pushpa 2: The Rule has been a huge box office success collecting over Rs 1,800 crore worldwide to become one of the highest grossing Indian films of the year. Now, after a successful theatrical run that started on December 5, 2024, the film looks set to make its OTT debut soon.
Pushpa 2 is expected to stream on Netflix around January 30 or 31, 2025. This follows the makers’ earlier announcement that the film will only be available on the streaming platform after its 56-day theatrical window. The makers wrote, “#Pushpa2TheRule is rumored to be released on OTT. Enjoy the biggest movie, #Pushpa2 only on big screens in this biggest festive season. It won’t be on OTT for 56 days! It’s #WildFirePushpa only in theaters worldwide.”
Fans are especially excited about the possibility of an extended version of the film, which includes an additional 20 minutes of footage that was released in the remastered version on January 17.
Pushpa 2 continues the story of Pushparaj, played by Allu Arjun, as he navigates his role as the leader of the red sandalwood syndicate, taking on formidable foes including Fahadh Faasil’s character, SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat.

The third installment of Pushpa 3: Rampage was announced during the credits of Pushpa 2.
Speaking to Pinkvilla, Srikanth Vissa, the dialogue writer for the ‘Pushpa’ franchise, earlier shared the news about the upcoming ‘Pushpa 3: The Rampage.’ He confirmed that the third installment will be “much bigger, grander and better” than its prequel, Pushpa 2: The Rule. He also shared that while developing the script for ‘Pushpa 2’, they realized that there was a lot more to explore in the Pushpa universe.
