Miss Rwanda 2022 was arrested for drunk driving

Known for her influence in the fashion industry, the 21-year-old was arrested on Tuesday, October 29, for driving under the influence and driving without a license.

Authorities said the former beauty pageant damaged infrastructure before fleeing the scene.

They added: “This is not the first time she has been involved in such offences.”

She is expected to appear in court on Thursday, October 31 to answer to the charges.

Devine rose to prominence on the Rwandan pageant scene after winning the Miss Rwanda 2022 title, a win that brought her national recognition.
