What Akshay had to say about Saif

Akshay said, “It’s great that he is safe. This is very good. We are happy. The whole industry is happy that he is safe. It was very brave of him to protect his family, and hats off to him.”

“Meine uske saath ek film ki hai Chief Khiladi Tu Anari lekin agli baar agar hum karenge toh banayenge film Tu Khiladi.” (I did a film with him called Main Khiladi Tu Anari, but next time if we do a film together, we will make it Tu Khiladi),” he added.

Last week, an intruder, later identified as Mohd Shariful Islam Shehzad, entered Saif’s house with the alleged intent to steal. Saif was stabbed in the thoracic spine when he tried to intervene during the confrontation between the assailant and his housekeeper.

The accused was apprehended at Hiranandani estate in Thane while trying to escape to his native village. Police said he hails from Jalokati district in Bangladesh.

Saif underwent surgery to treat serious injuries, including the removal of the 2.5-inch long blade.

A few hours after the incident, Karina took to Instagram and called on fans and the media to respect the family’s privacy during this difficult time. “It was an incredibly difficult day for our family, and we are still trying to process the events that unfolded. Going through this difficult time, I respectfully and humbly ask the media and paparazzi to refrain from continuous speculation and coverage,” said Karina.

In addition, she emphasized the extraordinary nature of constant control.

“While we appreciate the care and support, the constant scrutiny and attention is not only overwhelming, but also a significant risk to our safety. I kindly ask that you respect our boundaries and give us the space we need to heal and cope as a family. .I would like to thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation during this difficult time,” the statement said.

Recently, the autorickshaw driver who took the actor to the hospital also shared the details of what happened and how he came to the rescue.

Speaking to ANI, the driver explained that he saw a woman trying to hire an autorickshaw at 2 am on Thursday. Shortly after, he approached the stage and saw the “Hum Tum” actor covered in blood coming out of the gate accompanied by several others.

According to the driver, the actor “was bleeding” from his “neck and back.”

“I drive a car at night. It was around 2-3 in the night when I saw a woman trying to rent a car, but no one stopped. I also heard rickshaw calls from the gate. I turned around and stopped. My car at the gate came out covered in blood together with two to four other people and decided to go to Lilavati Hospital and then I came to know that he was Saif Ali Khan, I saw him bleeding from neck and back,” Rana told ANI.

This incident shocked everyone. The film industry has been showing huge support to the Khan family ever since they learned of Saif’s attack.

During the trailer launch of Deva, Shahid wished Saif a speedy recovery.

He said: “This is a very sad case and the whole fraternity is concerned about it. It is very difficult to accept such experiences when they happen in your personal space, especially in Mumbai. I’m sure the police are doing their best. This usually doesn’t happen in Mumbai as it is a very safe city We are praying for him all the time. We hope that Saif’s health will improve and I think we are all extremely shocked by what has happened to him.”

Many celebrities including Sanjay Dutt, Genelia Deshmukh and Riteish Deshmukh visited Lilavati Hospital to check on Saif’s health.
