Nicole Malliotakis Says Biden’s Last Minute Pardon Is ‘Telling’

Hours before President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration, Biden announced a January 6 precautionary pardon for Milli, Fauci and members and witnesses of the defunct committee. Meanwhile, none of these recipients face any charges.

“If anybody persecuted anybody politically, it was the Democrats who did it to President Donald Trump. But I would say, why should they get a pardon if they haven’t done anything wrong? What did they do?’ Malliotakis said this on Fox Business on Monday Morning with Maria Bartiromo. “And from the point of view of these pardons, I think if they don’t do anything wrong, why do you need this pardon? Because we have never been a party that targets the people, our political opposition. This is what the Democrats have done to President Trump to try to destroy him personally, professionally and financially.”

“Let’s see how it will turn out. I think it’s very telling that they felt the need to pardon,” Malliotakis said.

In his statement, Biden cited “ongoing threats and intimidation” as the reason for the pardon.

“The grant of a pardon should not be mistaken for an admission that any person is involved in any wrongdoing, nor should the acceptance of a pardon be misconstrued as an admission of guilt of any offence. Our nation is grateful to these public servants for their tireless dedication to our country,” Biden said.

Even before these pardons were issued, Biden set a record for presidential pardons, commutations and pardons of more than 4,200 people. Among them was his son Hunter Biden, whom he pardoned in connection with gun and tax fraud charges, including offenses he “may have committed or participated in” dating back to 2014.

Both Fauci and Milley publicly thanked Biden for the respective pardons.
