(Nationwide) Jeonbuk police crackdown on drug and drunk driving for three months starting November

The Jeonbuk National Police Office will carry out special enforcement for driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs in entertainment venues, busy streets and highways for three months starting in November.

The police have decided to launch an intensive crackdown on drunk driving, believing that the harmful effects of drunk driving are serious, with eight people killed in Jeonbuk alone until September this year.

Specifically, if a driver who appears to be intoxicated does not respond to alcohol, we plan to use a test tool to see if drugs are being administered.
