A TikTok star faces the death penalty for the alleged murder of a therapist

This is madness. A Louisiana man accused of murdering a therapist was indicted by a grand jury on Thursday (Jan. 16).

Terrion Thomas — also known as “Mr. Prada” on TikTok — are charged with first-degree murder, obstruction of justice, aggravated criminal damage and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He is accused of murdering his therapist, William Abraham, 69, in September 2024.

According to the Tangipahoa County Sheriff’s Office, Abraham’s body was found wrapped in a tarp along the highway on September 29. The next day, Thomas was allegedly seen driving Abraham’s car in Baton Rouge. Authorities issued an arrest warrant and Thomas was later captured in Dallas, Texas last October.

Thomas was initially charged with second-degree murder and obstruction of justice. However, the murder charge was upgraded to first degree because of the victim’s age.

The 20-year-old Newelton-born internet personality has amassed over eight million followers on TikTok. He gained notoriety for his comedic skits and commentary on relationships, school life and Gen Z culture, but there was clearly more to it than that.

After Abraham’s body was discovered, evidence of a violent altercation was found in Thomas’s apartment, including extensive traces of blood. Thomas was arrested in Dallas, Texas after fleeing in Abraham’s car. Under Louisiana law, he is now eligible for the death penalty.
