PATTAYA, Thailand – The City of Pattaya has issued a warning against the improper installation, placement or storage of items in public places or on roadsides. Any such actions that do not comply with the authorization instructions will result in fines.

We remind the public to respect both their own rights and the rights of others. Many citizens are embarrassed by the unnecessary placement of objects in public places, stressing that those responsible for this do not respect the law.

There have been calls for a hotline to report violations. In addition, there are concerns about congestion in the narrow lanes, with reports of tour buses blocking streets and making it difficult for other vehicles to pass.
