Alleged hit-and-run driver in deadly Columbia shooting pleads guilty

COLUMBIA, MO (KMIZ)

A man accused of driving an accused murderer from the scene of a shooting pleaded guilty Monday to the crime.

Shannon Glasgow pleaded guilty to hindering prosecution in Boone County. He was sentenced to 180 days and the time served was fully credited.

Quanina Lakeita Lambert, 34, and Jordan Jarodisia Brantley, 19, both of Columbia, were accused of first-degree assault, second-degree felony murder and hindering prosecution after a man was killed May 26 in a shooting at Rice Road and Boyd Lane. Both are being held in the Boone County Jail without bond.

Lambert has a preliminary hearing set for 10 a.m. Monday, April 21, and a jury trial for 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 29. A hearing in Brantley is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Monday, March 10.

Court documents in earlier reports indicated that Lambert was at a home on Rice Road that was apparently targeted by a group of gunmen who drove up in an SUV. Lambert allegedly gave her gun to the man at the scene.

The police found a man who was shot in the head and later died in hospital. He was identified Tuesday as 18-year-old Trevon Ashcraft.

According to the probable cause statement, Brantley was part of a group that targeted the home and was seen on video wearing a black ski mask. The police charged him with the fatal shooting.
