An Ohio man pleaded guilty to luring a minor in Cedar Rapids

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – A Cincinnati, Ohio man has pleaded guilty to seducing a minor under the age of 16.

According to the criminal complaint, a group of bikers called “Bikers Against Predators” posed as a 13-year-old girl who Walter Conkright tried to meet him for sex back in October 2023.

The criminal complaint shows he asked the girl to come to his hotel room and have sex and “still expressed a desire” to have sex with her despite being 13 years old.

Conkright faces up to five years in prison. He should be sentenced in March.
