Texans send humorous complaint to NFL over implausible wild-card streak

Death, taxes and the Houston Texans playing in Saturday’s early window on wild card weekend.

As for the NFL playoffs, there’s not much to be exact, but if there is, it’s that the Texans will play at 4:30 PM ET/3:30 PM PT on Saturday during the weekend they’ll make the postseason.

The Texans have been making fun of their consistent appearances in this span at a perfect clip The Real Bros of Simi Valley.

Since the franchise began play in 2002, they have reached the postseason eight times. The Texans played all eight postseason games at 3:30 p.m. Kyiv time on Saturday’s wild-card weekend. The Texans even played their divisional opener against the Baltimore Ravens at the same Saturday time slot last season.

Houston continues the streak they are getting ready to face the Los Angeles Chargers at 3:30pm CT on Saturday. The No. 4-seeded Texans host the No. 5-seeded Chargers, who enter this matchup on a three-game winning streak. Meanwhile, Houston struggled through the second half of the season.

Although Houston clinched their division relatively early and won their final game of the season, their offense was hampered by injuries to Tank Dell and Stefon Diggs, and they haven’t looked the same since the first half of the season. They will need to overcome these late season struggles to make their sixth round of the division.
