Despite his age, “Iron Mike” demonstrated his trademark thunderous punch in training staffsince he went through a full camp.

He recently released a video about himself sending a sparring partner to the canvas with a clear combination to intimidate Paul.

But the Troubled Child, while acknowledging his opponent’s condition, is still confident in his own condition to perform next month.

he told Today: “Tyson rejects people in sparring matches. He looks in the best shape and strongest he’s ever been, his trainers say.

“I know there will be a war on November 15. But I just plan to rebox him and show the world what I’m capable of.

“And I’m going to come alive in that moment and knock out one of the greatest that ever did it.

“A lot of people wonder, ‘Jake, why are you doing this? Even if you beat him, they’ll say he’s old.”

“But for me, Mike Tyson wanted to fight me. It’s an honor. He’s one of the most famous boxers in the world to ever do it.

“To go in there with someone of his character is an honor and a dream come true. It will be a spectacle.”

Still, Tyson’s left hook against his sparring partner will serve as a warning shot for Paul.

The legend has a staggering 88 percent knockout win percentage during his professional career and will certainly be a threat despite being far from his physical prime.

The competition will be held eight rounds of two minutesa shorter format that could play into the hands of the former undisputed champion.

The bout will also feature 14-ounce gloves, which is one of the requirements for the pair, who are 31 years apart, to enter the ring in a licensed bout.

But veteran referee Richard Steele insists that won’t do Paul any favours.

“It’s still a little gauntlet for thinking about power Mike Tyson“, he said USA today.

“I don’t see the guy going that far with Tyson. Because Tyson, he’s so strong and he’s a former champion.

“He knows what he’s doing and within two minutes he can go all out.

“He is still dangerous. He has such great power.

“I just hope he doesn’t get hurt or hurt the other guy.”
