Ray J claims Diddy’s sons wanted to fight him

Entertainment gossip and news from the Newsweek contributor network

Ray J just reviewed the incident it allegedly involved himself, Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sons and Chris Brown outside a Halloween party over the weekend.

During the conversation with Vac 10043-year-old Ray J shared the details of the confrontation with Diddy’s sons Quincy Brown, Christian and Justin Combs. He described a tense moment at a party hosted by Tara Electra where he tried to de-escalate the situation, saying: “I was trying to make sense of what happened. Fortunately, brother Chris was there.”

Ray J asked Wack 100 to keep the details private, but reports from TMZ indicated that the rapper was leaving a party with friends, including Amber Rose and manager David Weintraub, when he was approached by Diddy’s sons, allegedly upset by some comments he made regarding their father’s latest allegations.

Sources told the publication that tensions escalated when the two groups confronted each other, with Christian and Justin expressing their desire to fight by chest-bumping the “Wait a Minute” singer. Watching the situation from his vehicle, Brown reportedly intervened to prevent any escalation, pulling Diddy’s sons away without anyone being hurt.

Weintraub later expressed his frustration with the situation TMZsaying the event was a “great party” that was ruined by “little kids trying to fight a big boy.” According to the outlet, this isn’t the first time the trio has turned on Ray J, and they’ve tried to fight him three more times.

Meanwhile, Diddy is embroiled in serious legal trouble as he faces federal charges of human trafficking, racketeering and transportation for prostitution. The hip-hop mogul has pleaded not guilty and is expected to testify in court next May. His problems have escalated when more than 120 people, including men, women and minors, have accused him, with more appearing every day.

Diddy’s legal team strongly denies the claims, as his attorney said in a statement: “Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone, adult or minor, male or female.”
