He smashed the blocks with his training partner, showing simply incredible speed.

One viewer concluded: “Now he looks ready to fight.”

Davis had just one fight in a dismal 2024, defeating Frank Martin with another explosive ninth-round knockout.

It was his only way out after the victory over fellow superstar Ryan Garciawhich he sent sensationally in April 2023.

The 30-year-old seems to have the world at his feet, but his career has been stuttering in recent years.

He even stated that he wants to retire early from the sport at the end of 2025.

Explaining his planned decision, he said: “I’ve been through a lot, I’ve been through a lot, I’ve been betrayed and stuff.

“It really made me step away from the limelight. Everyone wants to be in front of the camera. They chase after the image. I don’t want to be a part of it.

“As long as I have money, I can take care of my kids and whoever I need to take care of, I don’t need any of that. You are always judged.

“You always have to live for someone else. You have to be perfect and nobody is perfect.

“At the end of 2025, I feel like I should be more mature mentally, further than I am now. And I have to finish my probation so I can travel the world.

“When I can travel the world, people will probably never see me again. I probably won’t be in America again.”
