Karen Pence disparages Donald Trump at Jimmy Carter’s funeral

Former First Lady Karen Pence became an online sensation on Thursday after a video of her refusing to shake President-elect Donald Trump’s hand went viral.

Trump and his wife Melania arrived at Jimmy Carter’s funeral on Thursday, and while former VP Trump stood to shake his hand, Karen stayed seated and refused to shake his or his wife’s hand … pretending not to see them.

Karen Pence is completely ignoring the man who incited the mob to hang her husband.

Trump and Pence clashed after the riot at the Capitol on January 6. At the time, Trump told Pence to muster the “courage” to refuse to certify the Electoral College vote, but Pence refused, choosing to respect the Constitution.

“I had no right to cancel the election,” Pence said at the time. “And his reckless words put my family and everyone in the Capitol that day at risk, and I know history will hold Donald Trump accountable.”

Pence also ran against Trump in the last election, but lost and dropped out early.
