21 cool things we spotted in Marvel’s big TV viewing

The future of Marvel Television looks bright, as evidenced a great new sizzling coil has been released on Wednesday In the two-minute clip, Marvel unveiled new footage from seven upcoming shows, some of which has never been seen before.

THERE ARE What if…? the third season will be released on December 22, then in 2025, Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man January 25 Daredevil: Born Again March 4 is coming, Ironheart June 24, The eyes of Wakanda August 6, Marvel Zombies in Octoberand A miracle man ending the year in December.

And even though it’s a short preview, Marvel made sure it packed a lot. Here are 21 cool things we spotted in the footage.

Daredevil: Born Again

New suit (:26)– Every time the Man Without Fear appears in Marvel, he seems to get a new costume, and this time is no exception.

Mayor Fisk (:13, 1:34, 1:36)– As expected and teased, especially in echoWilson Fisk (aka “Kingpin”) is now the mayor of New York.

The Punisher Returns (:15, 1:37) – Although there is a brief shot of Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle in the first part of the trailer, we later see him in the Punisher costume.

Muse (:09) – The video shows our first look at the villain Musa.

Yusuf Khan (:30)– Perhaps the biggest Easter egg in the entire trailer is the appearance of Mr. Khan, aka Kamala’s dad from Ms. Marvel and The Marvels. This is the guy who asks Matt about becoming a lawyer. Could his daughter play a role here?

Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man

The frames here are extremely fast, so really the biggest payoff is this unique spin (pun intended) on Spider-Man’s staple, the homemade suit. (:36)

Ironheart

Han Solo Unites (:08)– Sorry, Alden Ehrenreich, for us you are always a young Han Solo. And in a very brief shot at the beginning of the trailer, we see Riri Williams bringing him one of her armors.

Hood (:10, :45)– The trailer features a few brief glimpses of Hood, the show’s villain, played by Anthony Ramos.

New armors (:43, :47)– looks like Riri will have several armors Ironheart and white resembles one of Tony Stark’s options in Iron man 3.

What if…? Season 3

Agent Coulson Returns (:57) – Nick Fury leads a team possibly traveling to the Bifrost, which includes everyone’s favorite Agent Coulson.

Avenger Voltron (:59) – The shot of the Captain America-themed mechanism is taken from an episode where multiple Avengers control similar robots that merge into one.

Cowboy Shang-Chi (:57) – Obvious, but it’s good to finally see this hero while we patiently await his return to live play.

Marvel Zombies

Is this Blade? (1:02) – A man is dicing zombies that look a bit like Mahershala Ali in a Moon Knight costume. Is it Moon Knight? Is this Blade? Is it someone else?

Various Zombies (1:01)– Does the sneak peek show not only a zombie member of the Dora Milaje, but potentially Cull Obsidian?

Zombie Thanos (1:34) – Undead Thanos? What’s worse than that?

The eyes of Wakanda

From the two short shots, we can’t get anything other than a very unique and beautiful animation style that will feature many new characters from Wakanda. (1:25)

A miracle man

Meet Simon (1:07) – Here’s our first look at Simon (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II), who isn’t just auditioning for Wonder Man, he’s going to be Wonder Man.

Trevor is back (1:19) – Ben Kingsley is back in the MCU, reprising his role as failed actor Trevor Slattery from Iron man 3 and Shang-Chi. Glad to see he’s still in showbiz.

Costume Tribute (:08) – The first shot in the trailers shows Simon in a red suit that resembles one of Simon’s alternate uniforms from the comics – his classic casual safari jacket. introduced in the late 70s.

But also –

There are two things in the trailer that confused us. There is an image of someone in front of what appears to be a crime investigation (:10) that we are not sure. This is from Ironheart? A miracle man? And here’s the image above from inside TVA (:05). We can fit almost all the images in this scene except the one in the bottom middle. Black and white looks like Josh Gad. Any ideas?
