Corvallis man pleads not guilty to charges in Highway 35 crash

A Flathead County man involved in a Dec. 1 crash that killed one person and injured three others appeared in court via Zoom on Thursday.

Dal Segall, 41, is charged with driving while intoxicated.

Segall was charged with one count of vehicular homicide while driving under the influence and three counts of reckless assault causing serious injury.

Segal kept her head down as Judge Heidi Ulbricht read the charges, which carry the maximum sentences and fines.

“How do you justify the allegations on this information?” said Ulbricht.

“Not guilty, your honor,” Segal said.

“The court finds not guilty on count 1, count 2, count 4 and count 4,” Ulbritch said.

Segall was denied a release modification to a person who is considered a witness and a victim in the case.

Segall’s preliminary hearing is set for August 6.
