Wheel of Fortune fans have big complaints about the Game Show

Some Wheel of Fortune Fans have serious complaints about the current state of the game show.

One Reddit A user created a thread on Tuesday, January 7th titled “Puzzle Board Rejection” in which they expressed disdain for Wheel of Fortunequick editing style.

“Does it drive anyone crazy how often they give up on a puzzle?? I don’t know the solution, but it makes it impossible to solve the puzzle with the amount they switch,” the Redditor wrote. – Am I the only one like that?

As it turned out, it was not only them. During the final episodes, the camera cuts between the board, hosted by Ryan Seacrestand contestants. Other fans began to chime in, noting that they were having a hard time focusing on the puzzle.

Some believed that the rapid reduction had been a problem for many years.

“I’ve been complaining about this for years… show the damn puzzle longer!” wrote one fan. Another added: “100% I said that too. Half the fun is playing together!”

Meanwhile, other viewers even tried to find a solution to stop it. “Sometimes I use my DVR to pause. They don’t even show the board long enough for Vanna to turn over some letters sometimes,” wrote one.

“Wouldn’t mind if they kept showing the puzzle in a PIP on the screen (along the letter board) no matter where the game edit goes,” commented another user about the Wheel edit format.

Some even believe that the editing style has accelerated since Seacrest took over. “I feel that this season has been particularly bad. You are not the only one!!!” one person commented.

Wheel of Fortune is currently airing its 42nd season, which started in September 2024 and will run until June of this year. This is Seacrest’s first full season as host of the show since taking over the role Pat Sajakwho was with Wheel since 1981 and retired at the age of 77 in June 2024.
