Malayalam actress Honey Rose has filed a complaint against businessman Bobby Chemmanur

Thirvanthapuram: Honey Rose, a prominent Malayalam actress, has filed a complaint against businessman Bobby Chemmanur at the Ernakulam Central Police Station, accusing him of repeatedly making sexually inappropriate remarks against a woman.

The actress sought justice for the harassment she faced. In her complaint, Rose specifically highlighted an incident during the grand opening of Chemmanur jewelery store in Alakode, Kannur on August 7, where she was subjected to inappropriate behaviour. She also shared her experience of facing problems on various platforms after the incident.

The actor also filed complaints against at least 20 YouTubers for using obscene thumbnails of her in their videos. She decided to speak out against persecution and exploitation.

Before filing the complaint, Rose met with Superintendent of Police Manoj Abraham and Kochi City Police Commissioner Putta Vimladitya.

The actor also took to social media to issue a stern warning to Chemmanur and his followers, reiterating his faith in India’s legal system. “You may believe in the power of your wealth, but I trust in the legal system of India.”

Police have already taken a person into custody for making inappropriate comments under Rose’s social media post.
