Marvel Reveals Full 2025 TV Schedule, What…If? Season 3 will be released in December 2024

Christmas came early Marvel fans last night, and perhaps as much about the superhero studio downsizing and “smaller is better?” Last night, eagle-eyed fans spotted a new Coming To Disney+ teaser ahead of the first episode of “Agatha All Along”, which quickly hit the Internet. And while Marvel has shied away from giving away too much information lately, with fewer announcements at Comic-Con and D23 than expected, the studio has indeed given up on its upcoming television plans.

Looking ahead to 2024, Marvel has made two big announcements: the premiere of Deadpool and Wolverine on Disney+ on November 12, and the third and final season of the animated series “What… If?” The premiere will take place later this year, on December 22. The latter isn’t too much of a surprise, “What… If?” Teasers for the third season were released earlier this year, with the second season also debuting around the same time frame in December 2023.

By 2025, a Bob Iger After recently promising that Marvel would scale back and bring fewer live-action shows to Disney+ and avoid oversaturating the market with content, the company has unveiled six Marvel series for 2025, three of which are live-action and three of which are animated series.

The first big surprise was the announcement “A miracle man» in the main role Yahya Abdul-Matin II. Expected sometime in 2026, Marvel Television announced that the series will arrive in December 2025 (you can read our Wonderman first footage report here).

Already dated March 4, 2025, Marvel has revealed more new footage from “Daredevil: Born Again“, in the main role Charlie Cox and also finally released a release timeline from their lengthy works”Ironheart“, the filming of which ended in 2023. Ironheart, starring Dominic Thorne and a spin-off from Wakanda Forever, debuts on June 24, 2025.

Fans of Marvel animation will soon be in for a treat. At the top of the What…If? Marvel Television announced “Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man” arriving January 29, 2025, limited edition, “The eyes of Wakanda” debuts on August 6 and the long-awaited “Marvel Zombies» mini-series, a spin-off of the film “What…if?” will arrive in October 2025.

The animation news can’t be a huge surprise either, as D23 teased all of these series with new footage, new announcements, but didn’t reveal any dates.

Despite Iger’s promise, one wonders if Marvel’s backlog has caused all of these projects to be released in 2025. As mentioned, Heart of Iron was made years ago, and the animated series has also been in the works for years.

In the case of Wildman, it’s safe to assume that the release of that series before the end of 2025 could mean that they’re hoping to introduce the character earlier.”Avengers: Judgment Day» in May 2026 so they can use it in this photo so it doesn’t look weird. But who knows. In any case, after a failed 2024 with only one feature film (Deadpool and Wolverine) and two series (echo” and “Agatha All Along”), three feature films, three live-action TV shows and three animated series will be produced for Marvel Studios in 2025.

Here’s a full recap of what’s to come below, along with a teaser featuring new footage released last night.
