Atul Subhash suicide case: Bengaluru court grants bail to Nikita Singhania’s wife, relatives in techie’s suicide case – India News

A Bengaluru city civil court on Saturday granted bail to the wife, mother-in-law and son-in-law of Atul Subhash, 34, who committed suicide earlier in December after allegedly being harassed by his son-in-law. .

The accused is Nikita Singhania, wife of Subhash; Nisha Singhania, his mother-in-law; and Anurag Singhania, his son-in-law, were arrested last week in connection with the case. They were charged with abetting suicide based on a complaint filed by Subhash’s brother, Bikas Kumar, at the Marathahalli police station in Bengaluru.

Lawyer Vinay Singh, who represents Subhash’s family, has expressed his intention to challenge the bail order. “Bail is allowed. We are waiting for the order… Our argument was based on facts, on persecution. The death note was submitted to the forensic medical examination, but it has not yet been reviewed. The video of his suicide was also sent for examination. His handwriting is also being checked… We are a whole family. We are fighting for justice for the family… We will challenge it (the bail order)… After going through the order sheet and analyzing it, we may approach the Karnataka High Court,” Singh said.

Accusations and consequences

The death note claimed that Subhash was mentally and physically exhausted from the ongoing legal battles and alleged that the family court judge in Uttar Pradesh was favoring his relatives.

“My brother has been mentally and physically exhausted since the court proceedings began. He was constantly abused and told to die if he could not meet their demands,” said Bikas Kumar in his complaint.
