Similarly, any person who provides cyber security services without a license shall be liable to imprisonment for a term of one month to six months or a fine of one million Kyats to ten million Kyats or both, and evidence of case to confiscate as national property. If the perpetrator is a company or organization, the company or organization will be fined at least ten million Kyats, and evidence related to the case will be confiscated as national property.

In addition to this, if anyone is found guilty of continuing to provide cyber security services without renewing their license, that person will be fined between one million kyat and a maximum of five million kyat. If a digital platform service operator with 100,000 or more users in the country is found guilty of operating without registration, it will be fined at least 100 million kyats and the relevant evidence will be kept as national property.

According to the law, if anyone is found guilty of continuing to operate digital platform services without renewing their registration, they will be fined at least fifty million Kyats.

It provides that any person found guilty of any form of cyber abuse of computer programs shall be liable to imprisonment for a term of six months to two years or a fine of one million Kyats to ten million Kyats, or both and imprisonment for a term of not less than one year and not more than three years, or a fine not less than five million kyats and not more than twenty million kyats, or both punishments shall be imposed

According to the cyber security law, if any convicted person acts in a way that could damage a cyber resource or install or gain access to malicious software, making it impossible for a person who has the right to access the cyber resource to break into a system or destroy information in cyber security. resources, excluding or altering or altering their utility or effect or hijacking to damage the source codes in a computer or to make it impossible to use or destroy or alter or use cyber resources to deceive, use electronic information to harm or discredit another person, correct, change or otherwise disseminate information or send unsolicited messages, e-mail and information over a network or induce another person to do so, he or she shall be imprisoned for a minimum term of one year and a maximum of two years, or a fine of at least five million kyats and a maximum of twenty million kyats, or both penalties shall be imposed.
