The excitement is palpable as fans prepare for the third and final season of Netflix’s global sensation, Squid game. Just days after the long-awaited premiere of Season 2, the creators confirmed that Season 3 will debut in 2025. In addition, an eerie teaser and an impressive poster appeared, hinting that this time the wait will not be long. time.

The teaser offers tantalizing clues taken from the Season 2 finale credits, where viewers were introduced to Chul-soo, the sinister new doll taking center stage in the revamped Red Light Green Light game.

Judging from the clip, Chul-soo may join forces with Young-hee in the next installment to make the escape even more difficult and deadly for the players.

Along with teasing a new character, an intense new setting, and a fierce battle following the cliffhanger ending to Season 3, Netflix also released a confirmed release date for The Squid Game Season 3, but later took it down. However, fans were quick to notice that the YouTube caption listed June 27, 2025 as the premiere date, which was quickly changed to private and deleted. Although Netflix still wants to wait a few more days before confirming its season 3, the internet is divided on whether this was a smart move by the producers to build anticipation or a genuine mistake.

Many took to social media and commented on this tactic. One wrote: “Coincidentally this is marketing lol.”

What to expect in Squid Game Season 3?
