After three hit collaborations with Amitabh Bachchan, acclaimed director Shojit Sircar is now joining forces with Abhishek Bachchan for a much-anticipated new project. Their film I Want to Talk has already created a buzz on the internet after Abhishek released the teaser. Fans have been eagerly anticipating this dynamic pairing, and now there’s even more to be excited about: the official trailer for the film will be released on November 5.

Yes, you heard that right! PinkVilla has confirmed that Abhishek Bachchan’s upcoming film I Want to Talk will release the much-awaited trailer on November 5! With the teaser and poster already getting fans excited, I Want To Talk is set to be one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

Earlier, the makers of the film had released a distinctive poster, which shows Abhishek in a non-traditional look, wearing an open robe over a cartoon print pajama with a slight paunch. He stands in a cluttered room, looking off-camera in glasses, capturing a whimsical atmosphere that intrigued fans.

Sharing the poster on Instagram, Abhishek captioned it, “Bolne ke liye toh bohot kuch hai but then, a picture ‘shat’ a thousand words,” adding a playful touch to the reveal.

In a recent teaser, Shoojit Sircar gave fans a glimpse of Abhishek Bachchan’s character, a man who ‘lives to talk’ and tackles life’s challenges with unbridled optimism. Shoojit introduced the teaser with the caption, “We all know that one person who lives to talk. Here is the story of a man who always looks on the bright side of life, no matter what life throws at him! Tag someone you know who lives to talk!”

The teaser also features an adorable doll of Abhishek in a car, with his character’s voice delivering a deep line, “I don’t just like to talk, I live to talk. Zinda hone mein aur marne mein mujhe bas yehi ek main difference dikhta hai. Zinda log bol pate hai, mare hue, bol nahi pate. (The only fundamental difference I see between the living and the dead is this: the living can speak, the dead cannot).

Directed by Shoojit Sircar and produced by Rising Sun Films and Kino Works, I Want To Talk is slated to hit theaters on November 22, 2024. Along with Abhishek Bachchan, the film starred Pearl Day, Ahilya Bhambra, Jayant Kripalani, Christine Goodard and Johnny Lever.

The project will be Abhishek’s first film since his role in the 2023 sports drama Humer and promises to showcase his versatility in a fresh and exciting way.
